There is ONLY ONE Sunshine Baseball League that is often imitated but never duplicated! The Sunshine Baseball League was started to give AAU teams an opportunity to continue playing games year round after National Competition. As we enter our 18th year of providing an excellent format for player development, we are reminded about the new teams that are just entering the program and the need for them to know why we exist.
The Sunshine Baseball League provides a format that allows coaches to have a Mini Major League Baseball Team. We do not tell you what to call your team, what to wear or how many innings each player must play. What we do is: provide a level playing field by checking each player’s birth certificate; enforce roster rules that govern player movement and administer a state of the art website that updates your games in real time.
The Sunshine Baseball League is a low cost alternative to competing in tournaments every weekend. There are at least 2 Sunshine Baseball League tournaments offered per month that augment your double header schedule. The games that are played in the Sunshine Baseball League Tournaments count toward your league minimum. Teams that win the League in Division 1(Platinum) or Division 2 (Gold) are rewarded with championship rings at the Sunshine Baseball Awards Banquet and are part of our video presentation of the year in review.

In order to give every team, current and new, an opportunity to participate in the Sunshine Baseball League, we are offering Free AAU Membership (up to 12 players) for the 2010/2011 membership year which starts 9/1/2010 thru 8/31/2011.
It is easy to get your Free Membership, just register for the Fall Coaches Meeting and sign up for the 1st Pitch Classic Tournament being held Labor Day Weekend, September 3-5, 2010 in Winter Haven/Auburndale. A $50 deposit will hold your spot in the tournament with the balance due by August 25th.

There is ONLY ONE Florida AAU Baseball/Sunshine Baseball League meeting and it will be held Saturday, August 14, 2010 at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel. This meeting gives all coaches the opportunity to come together and create your Fall Schedule. It is imperative that you attend this meeting because many decisions and rules regarding the league will be discussed at the meeting. Please CLICK HERE to register today.
