Coaches can now register your team for the 2010 Sunshine Baseball Fall League. To register go to the “Events” tab and select 2010 Sunshine Baseball Fall League. By registering your team for the Fall Season you and one other coach get to go to the Fall Season Coaches Meeting. The Fall Coaches Meeting will be held on August 14th, in Orlando at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel. Register your team by Friday, July 30th and you will receive a FREE GIFT. Every year coaches who register after the deadline want to know how they can buy the coaches gift but every year we have to tell them, “They are not for sale”. Do not miss out on your free gift.
There are plenty of benefits of playing in the Sunshine League. Here is a list of just a few of the benefits of being a part of the Sunshine Baseball League:
- We have a full time office staff available to administer the Sunshine Baseball League and they verify birth certificates and insurance coverage.
-We have a roster regulation that protects your roster from players moving team to team.
-The Sunshine Baseball League is a low cost alternative that can be used in addition to tournament attendance. Teams simply share the cost of the officials and supply baseballs.
-The Sunshine Baseball League has an emphasis on player development. The season has a start and an end date to keep track of your record so that you as coaches can see how well your team is developing.
-The Sunshine Baseball League has a state of the art website that tracks wins/losses, rosters, events, and breaking news all in one location. No need to try to find the site.
-As a coach in the Sunshine Baseball League, you have access to post your roster, your game scores, request games from other teams in or out of your area and post your game scores immediately after the game and have the site updated every night.
-We hold an annual Awards Banquet every January to honor the players and coaches that were top performers in their division.
